Ngo Okafor

Founder

Ngo Okafor is a two-time Golden Gloves boxing champion and the Founder/CEO of Iconoclast Fitness in Manhattan. As a Nigerian immigrant, Ngo faced the U.S. with no professional network or net worth. Through unwavering determination, hard work, and mental toughness, he evolved into one of America's most sought-after personal trainers. His clientele boasts celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Naomi Campbell, Brooke Shields, Chelsea Clinton, Julia Roberts and Iman. Ngo went on to create “28 Days Greater”, his 28-day mind and body transformation program, which helps people lose up to 25 pounds in 28 days.

After a childhood marked by bedridden days in Nigeria, Ngo vowed to make up for lost time. He gained admission to college at the age of 15. At the age of 31, Ngo took up boxing and within 3 years, he had remarkably won two back-to-back Golden Gloves National Championship titles.

Ngo emphasizes that the mind is the key muscle for fitness, believing the body follows the mind's command. He's a frequent contributor to publications like Oprah Magazine, Men’s Health, Women’s Health, and Glamour, and is a regular on TV shows such as The Today Show and Good Morning America.

Yet, Ngo's most significant achievement is being a dedicated family man, with a loving wife and two children, Chioma, 8, and Amara, 4.
